POPULATION HEALTH

FACILITATING THE TRANSITION TO VALUE-BASED CARE

For at-risk entities looking to reign in long-term healthcare costs related to heart disease, MET-TEST offers real-world patient management experience to enhance individual risk stratification and develop customized treatment plans including personalized exercise prescriptions and optimizing medical therapy. Lifestyle and medical therapy are the only interventions proven to improve primary and secondary prevention of heart disease and reduce costs.

Improving the health of a population starts with the individual. With serial testing and close tracking of changes in cardiovascular function, patients receive regular objective feedback to facilitate their transition to better health. With our back-end analytics, providers and administrators are able to gain valuable insight into the dynamics of their population.

O2 Pulse Patterns in Male Master Athletes with Normal and Abnormal Exercise Tests

"Exercise testing (ET) is widely used for screening in recreational and competitive athletes. As shown in previous studies, abnormal ET results, indicative of myocardial ischemia, are frequently found in athletes. In master athletes (>35 yr of age), the prevalence of abnormal ET results is approximately 20%, with a gradual increase across the adult life span. As a consequence, athletes are often referred for further diagnostic evaluation to identify potential underlying cardiovascular diseases."  Click here for more details
